Negotiating an ongoing dialogue with local, state, and national stakeholders in order to further policies, payment systems, and infrastructure designed to improve behavioral health.
Our position compels us to be a powerful voice, not only for the individuals Acenda serves annually, but as leaders who push our sector forward and respond to the evolving needs in our communities. The policy & advocacy pillar has a scalable focus which encompasses local, state, regional and the national strategy related to social and human services priorities, regulation and funding.
We strive to transform systems, whenever possible, with a specific focus on improving public health and wellness. At AIHI our efforts are pointed towards informing the political, legal and operational framework at a state and national level within which behavioral health services are provided. When it comes to impacting public health, integrated care, healthcare payment models, and other critical industry issues, we hold ourselves to the highest standards.
We hope you will have the opportunity to participate in one of the many our legislative forums, workshops, and events in the near future.
