“Not Your Parents Treatment Plan” – Considerations for Gen Z and Mental Health

Please join us as our panel takes a deep into youth mental health, one of the most pressing subjects in the United States today.

“Not Your Parents Treatment Plan”- Considerations for Gen Z and Mental Health will feature two Rowan College of South Jersey students who will share their perspectives as seen through the eyes of Generation Z. Both, Nancy and Jaxson, will share their experiences, thoughts, and insights on a subject matter near and dear to them. Rounding out the panel will be Dr. Gregory Bunt who is a highly accomplished psychiatrist specializing in adolescent psychiatry.

Each speaker will address the subject matter during the first half of this webinar. Participants will have an opportunity to pose questions to each of our panelists during the second half of the presentation.

Gregory Bunt, M.D. – Gregory Bunt M.D. graduated in 1983 from NYU School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1987. He was among the first to complete the Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry in the nation (NYU 1989) and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Special Added Qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry and a Distinguished Fellow of both the American and International Societies of Addiction Medicine.

Dr. Bunt is the Past President of the New York Society of Addiction Medicine, the Past President of the International Society of Addiction Medicine and the Past President of the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry. He has authored over 20 publications and speaks nationally and internationally about addiction medicine and addiction psychiatry.

Jaxson Dunn – Jaxson Pierce Dunn was born and raised in various places in New Jersey. Jaxson’s father John Paul and mother Kathryn had their fair share of struggles, yet their constant effort provided Jaxson with every lesson he needed to learn until now. Jaxson has spent many years moving to different towns and schools and graduated from Washington Township High School. He is now attending the Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ), as well as serving a position among the executives of the student government on campus.

Nancy Davidson – Nancy Davidson is currently a freshman at RCSJ and is a Computer Graphic Arts-Print Design major, also working towards a certificate in Digital Marketing. Nancy is a class of 2022 graduate of Pitman High School, and when finished at RCSJ, looks to continue her education at James Madison University, through their Media Art and Design, and Sports Communications programs. Nancy is a member of three academic honor societies here on campus and is also a proud member of the RCSJ-Gloucester Women’s Golf team.
